This privacy policy applies to the Notes app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Baday Production (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

The content of your notes, including all text, checklists, images, scanned documents and audio recordings, is stored locally on your device only. Note content is never transmitted to the Service Provider or to any third party. No service used by the Application has access to the content of your notes. The Service Provider has no server that stores your notes and no ability to read them.

The only exception is entirely under your control: if you choose to enable the optional Google Drive backup and sync feature, your notes are stored in your own Google Drive account and kept in sync across the devices on which you sign in with the same Google account. The Application uses two restricted Google Drive permissions: "drive.file", which limits it to the files it created itself - the backup archives in its own folder - and "drive.appdata", a hidden application-data space reserved for the Application that syncing uses. Neither permission lets the Application see the rest of your Drive. Your synced notes travel only between your device and your own Google Drive; they do not pass through any server of the Service Provider, and the Service Provider cannot access them. You can turn syncing off at any time in the Application's settings. Backups you export manually to local storage are ordinary files saved where you choose and are likewise never transmitted anywhere by the Application.

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as

• The operating system you use on your mobile device
• Email address when you choose to sign in with Google
• Device identifiers used for advertising (such as the Android Advertising ID), subject to your consent where required. See the Advertising section below

The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.

For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to Email. The information that the Service Provider request will be retained by them and used as described in this privacy policy.

The Premium version of the Application is completely ad-free, and no advertising related data is processed for Premium users. The rest of this section applies only to the free version of the Application.

The free version of the Application shows advertisements served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process device information such as the advertising identifier of your device, IP address, and coarse ad-interaction data. Advertising never involves the content of your notes: the ad SDK has no access to your notes, and nothing you write in the Application is used to select or target ads.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for your consent via Google's consent form before any advertising data is processed (in accordance with the GDPR and the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework). Depending on your choices, you may be shown personalized ads, non-personalized ads. You can review or change your choice at any time from the "Privacy options" entry in the Application's settings.

You can learn how Google uses advertising data at How Google uses information, and see the list of ad technology providers at AdMob ad partners. You can opt out of personalized advertising system-wide in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement. The content of your notes is never part of any such data.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
• when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
• with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, the right to object to processing, and the right to data portability. Where processing is based on consent - such as advertising - you may withdraw that consent at any time from the "Privacy options" entry in the Application's settings, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. Because your notes are stored only on your device, you can delete them directly in the Application at any time; deleting the notes held in Google Drive can be done from the Application or from your own Google Drive. To exercise any of these rights regarding data held by the Service Provider, contact notesappcontact@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you'd like them to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at notesappcontact@gmail.com and they will respond in a reasonable time. Your notes themselves are retained only on your device (and, if you enabled Google Drive sync, in your own Google Drive account) and are removed when you delete them or uninstall the Application.

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
